LinkFor Awarded Malaysia Digital Status and Service Provider Accreditation by MDEC

LinkFor, a leading e-Invoicing solutions provider, has been awarded the ‘Malaysia Digital (MD) Status’ and ‘Service Provider Accreditation Award’ at the National e-Invoicing Open Day and Accreditation Ceremony, hosted by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

This recognition officially establishes LinkFor as an authorized Peppol service provider in Malaysia, empowering companies to utilize its comprehensive e-Invoicing solutions.

MDEC, as the Peppol Authority, oversees e-Invoicing service and solutions providers. It specifies local requirements and technical standards, ensuring compliance with the Peppol framework.

Choosing an accredited MDEC-backed e-Invoicing solution via the Peppol Network unlocks a range of benefits, allowing suppliers to send e-Invoices seamlessly as both B2B and B2G, paving the way for smooth financial operations. This approach not only prepares businesses for the future but also enhances their competitive edge and supports sustained growth in the Malaysia market.

LinkFor has assisted over 5,000 businesses in Malaysia and globally in becoming more efficient and secure, significantly reducing the time required to process invoices. e-Invoicing provides significant advantages, such as cost savings, better cash flow management, enhanced security, increased efficiency, and reduced errors. It streamlines processes, promotes sustainability by reducing paper usage, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Malaysia’s e-Invoicing mandate is set to enter phase one, aiming to enhance national tax revenue from businesses. The gradual rollout begins on August 1st, 2024, targeting businesses with annual sales exceeding RM100 million.

By July 1st, 2025, e-Invoicing will become mandatory for all businesses offering sales or services. To support this transition, the government has announced that Micro SMEs will be allowed to issue consolidated e-Invoices—a digital receipt combining all sales transactions on a monthly basis—to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) within the first seven days of each month.

“Achieving this accreditation positions LinkFor at the forefront of e-Invoicing, supporting Malaysia’s digital transformation journey,” said Stephanie Xavier, LinkFor Malaysia. “Our unique solutions offer businesses a streamlined path to comply with Malaysia’s e-Invoicing mandate,” added Xavier.
